Stop waiting to feel ready
Readiness is a by-product of action, not a requirement for it.
The idea
Readiness is not a feeling that arrives before action. It is a by-product of action. Most people wait to feel ready, and the feeling never comes, because the thing that produces it, doing the work, has not happened yet.
Why it matters
Waiting feels responsible, but it is often fear wearing a sensible coat. Each day you wait, the task grows heavier in your imagination and your confidence shrinks a little. People who begin before they feel ready collect something waiting can never give: information, and the first proof that they can.
The shift
From "I'll start when I feel ready" to "I'll start so I can become ready." You are not lowering your standards. You are changing the order of events.
Try this today
Choose one thing you have been waiting to feel ready for. Define the smallest possible first step, ten minutes or less, and do it before noon. Not to finish. Only to begin.
Reflection question
What have I been waiting to feel ready for, and what would the first ten minutes look like?

One better decision
Lives change through a run of slightly better decisions, not one dramatic leap.
Choose who you are this week
Goals describe what you do. Identity describes who you are while you do it.
Start where you are
You only ever begin from where you actually are. That is not a limit, it is the starting line.
