Choose who you are this week
Goals describe what you do. Identity describes who you are while you do it.
The idea
Goals describe what you want to do. Identity describes who you are being while you do it. Weeks go better when you decide, in advance, what kind of person shows up.
Why it matters
Under pressure we default to habit, not intention. A short, clear description of the person you intend to be, such as calm, prepared and kind, gives you something to return to when the week gets loud.
The shift
From "What do I need to get done?" to "Who do I need to be to get it done well?" The tasks stay the same. Your relationship to them changes.
Try this today
Write three words that describe the person you want to be this week. Put them where you will see them. Before each meeting or hard task, ask: what would this version of me do?
Reflection question

Keep going
Stop waiting to feel ready
Readiness is a by-product of action, not a requirement for it.
One better decision
Lives change through a run of slightly better decisions, not one dramatic leap.
Start where you are
You only ever begin from where you actually are. That is not a limit, it is the starting line.
