Courage is a small step
Confidence is built from evidence. Small brave acts are how you collect it.
The idea
Courage is rarely a leap. Most of the time it is a small step taken while nervous: sending the message, raising a hand, asking the question.
Why it matters
Confidence is built by evidence, not affirmation. Each time you act while uncertain and survive it, you add a line to a private record that says "I can do hard things." That record is more persuasive than any pep talk.
The shift
From "I'll act when I'm confident" to "I'll act so I can become confident."
Try this today
Choose one small act of courage that is slightly uncomfortable but low risk. Do it today. Afterwards write one sentence: "I did this, and here is what happened."
Reflection question
What small act of courage is waiting for me, and what is the worst realistic outcome?
Write your answerPart of: Become more confident
Keep going
Motion before motivation
Action, even small and clumsy, produces the feeling you were waiting for.
The two-minute start
Any task can be reduced to a version small enough to begin right now.
Done beats perfect
A finished imperfect thing teaches you more than a perfect thing in your head.
